  • Interpret abnormal clinical findings (e.g., sepsis, hypoxia, cardiac issues)
  • Use the ABCDE framework (Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Disability, Exposure) for structured assessment
  • Apply first-line interventions safely within their scope of practice
  • Communicate clearly and escalate concerns using ISBAR or similar tools
  • Document and report deterioration events in line with organisational protocols
  • Reflect on professional responsibilities and timely clinical action

These outcomes aim to enhance confidence, clinical reasoning, and communication when managing patients at risk of deterioration.

    This fully online module takes approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete, depending on prior knowledge and individual learning pace.
