Eddie Freitas is a seasoned educational leader and CEO of Serco’s Registered Training Organisation (RTO), renowned for driving quality education, strong educational governance, and impactful capability outcomes across the VET sector. As Head of Learning Solutions, Eddie leads Serco AsPac’s Learning & Capability function and is a key enabler of workforce development aligned to Serco’s Education and Training strategy.
With a wealth of tertiary qualifications in health, education, and vocational training, Eddie brings over two decades of frontline and executive experience across Health, Defence, Justice, and Community Services. He has served in pivotal clinical and leadership roles, including as a Nursing Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force, an Intensive Care Paramedic with NSW Ambulance, and a Director Emergency Services, Emergency Management. Learning & Capability and Social Policy.
Eddie is committed to shaping learner-centric, industry-relevant training that uplifts educators, empowers organisations, and enhances brand integrity. His strategic influence spans learning reform, policy development, and operational capability uplift, ensuring VET sector is responsive, rigorous and future-ready.
